Embody a deeper understanding of Fighting, Flow State, and Self Mastery.
Four days of martial arts, movement practise, beautiful nature, and deep recovery — woven together into one coherent flow. This is what the Playful Warrior retreat feels like.
A style-independent training camp where practitioners come to challenge themselves, gain new tools for practise, explore the flow state, and take their combat skills to the next level.
Four days at Breddas, outside Uddevalla, Sweden. You train martial arts — striking and grappling sessions with clear technical focus each day. You play — wakeboarding, archery tag, forest games. You recover — sauna, breathwork, sound healing, ice baths. All meals and accommodation included. 16 spots total.
“Designed for martial artists, coaches, and movement practitioners who want to train seriously — and come home with something they can actually use.”

“The world can feel chaotic… War, politics, economy, and pandemics are all spinning out of control. To navigate this mess without sacrificing our health and sanity, we need strong individuals who are in control of themselves and carry a playful approach; because it is not the stress itself that wears you down — it is how you carry it.”
“No one can solve the world’s problems alone, but we can all change ourselves — and with that we impact our immediate surrounding; creating a ripple effect through the world at large.
It all starts with your practice and attitude towards life’s circumstances. In a strong and playful manner we can more easily navigate obstacles in our way and overcome them.
The world needs more playful warriors.
This camp is for you who wants to be the change.”
— Oliver Enkamp
Playful Warrior is not MMA. It is not karate, BJJ or Muay Thai. Nor is it any other label you might think of either.
It's a style-independent training retreat that uses martial arts as a lens to sharpen your senses and explore Mushin (無心) — also known as the "flow state" of optimal performance.
Our hope is that you will not only develop a deeper sense of your body in relationship to yourself, but to your opponent and the environment itself.
The Flow of the Camp
Each day combines physical intensity with inner practice — training, play, pressure, recovery, breath and reflection.
We arrive, connect and set the tone with openness, curiosity and play.
We explore flow through martial arts, timing, rhythm and movement games.
We train calm under pressure through sparring, challenge and forest adventure.
We slow down, integrate and learn how to carry the practice home.
A journey from openness → flow → steadiness → integration.
We put on gloves and shin guards and get to work. The focus is on footwork and distance management — learning to read your opponent, using rhythm to your advantage, and incorporating feints into your arsenal.
You’ll develop a real understanding of what Fight IQ actually means: not just reacting, but anticipating, adapting, and staying one step ahead — without forcing it.
The focus here is technical efficiency — doing more with less. Less force, less muscle. More leverage, more momentum. You’ll work on effortless takedowns and scrambling back to your feet without burning out.
We’ll also explore how to blend your striking and wrestling — using the threat of one to open up the other, confusing the opponent and steering the fight exactly where you want it.
Through games, partner drills and movement challenges, we’ll work with key flow triggers like clear goals, immediate feedback, risk, novelty, focus and the balance between skill and challenge.
We’ll explore how play can sharpen timing, reaction, awareness and adaptability — without getting stuck in overthinking.
The goal is to help you feel the shift from forcing movement to entering flow: more present, responsive and alive.
Morning yoga or restorative movement led by Josefin or Erik — 40 minutes, outdoors when weather allows. Evening breathwork with Erik or sound healing with Josefin closes each day.
Daily sauna, hot tub, and ice baths on selected days. Recovery is not an afterthought here — it’s half the programme.
Gloves on. Striking and grappling sessions with clear technical focus each day — footwork, distance, timing, takedowns, and blending the two.
Wakeboarding, archery tag, forest games, and movement challenges led by Nordic Ninjas — sharpening awareness and adaptability through play.
Morning yoga, evening breathwork with Erik, sound healing with Josefin, daily sauna, hot tub, and ice baths on selected days.
The camp is guided by a carefully selected group of practitioners who each bring deep expertise in their own field — and together hold a space where the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts.
Martial Arts Lead
A lifelong martial artist and professional fighter with experience from the UFC, Bellator MMA, European & World Championships in Sanda (kickboxing), Muay Thai fights in Thailand, Swedish national team in karate, and Swedish championship titles in grappling & MMA.
Oliver is also the head coach of Combat Academy — one of Stockholm's biggest and oldest martial arts centres still running today — and will lead the martial arts training sessions during the camp.
Movement, Play & Nature
Timmy Forss — Former Swedish & Nordic Champion in Pro Wrestling. Movement educator, game & play designer, and founder of Nordic Ninjas. Timmy explores fighting through flow, play, and awareness — helping practitioners train with presence, adaptability, and intelligence rather than force.
Mattias Hoppe — Wakeboard pioneer and co-creator of the training grounds at Breddas, built together with his family. With a lifelong bond to nature, Mattias uses the forest as a teacher — training awareness, humility, adaptability, and respect for terrain, weather, and rhythm.
Yoga, Sound Healing & Recovery
The yin to our yang. A yoga and meditation teacher and guide, sound healer, and bodyworker. Specializing in nervous system regulation, integration, and repatterning.
Josefin is devoted to helping people access more of their potential through various bottom-up approaches. Her sessions weave together breath, movement, and sound to create space for deep recovery and integration after the intensity of training.
Foot Function · Breathwork · Recovery
Erik Svensson is a movement coach with over 9 years of experience helping people build stronger, more resilient bodies from the ground up. An expert in foot function, his work focuses on the feet as the foundation for posture, balance, gait, and whole-body performance.
Through Evolve to MOVE., Erik also guides people in breathwork, recovery, and sustainable performance, bringing a calm and practical approach to long-term wellbeing. At Playful Warrior, Erik will help participants reconnect with their foundation — through the feet, the breath, and the body's natural ability to restore.

Because that's how we grow… without breaking.
If everything is too safe — we stagnate.
If everything is too intense — we shut down.
But play creates this middle space.
Where you can explore risk… without fear taking over.
Where you can meet resistance… but stay open.
It's like your nervous system learns:
“Okay… this is uncomfortable… but I'm okay.”
And that's huge.
Because that's not just training —
that's life.
Concrete technical improvements in footwork, distance management, takedowns, and blending the two — things you can take straight back to the gym.
Not just reacting — but reading, anticipating, and adapting. You’ll understand what it means to stay one step ahead without forcing it.
Four days of sauna, breathwork, sound healing, and quality sleep. You’ll leave feeling genuinely rested — not just worked.
Coaches and instructors will leave with methods they can bring directly into their own classes — for striking, grappling, movement, and recovery.
A practical understanding of how play reduces tension, improves learning, and makes hard training sustainable over time.
16 participants. Small group. Real conversations. You’ll leave with connections that go beyond the mat.
